THE PROMISE: GOD WILL HELP YOU TURN DISAPPOINTMENTS INTO TRIUMPHS

"Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall." Psalm 55:22 NLT

All of us will face life-altering disappointments in our life that will leave us breathless. Some of you already have at a very young age. Oftentimes, these disappointments come unexpectedly, leaving us with more questions than answers. But even when we don’t have all the answers—or, for that matter, even when we don’t seem to have any of the answers—God does. Whatever our circumstances, whether we stand atop the highest mountain or wander through the darkest valley, God is ready to protect us, to comfort us, and to heal us. Our task, or, our challenge is to let Him.

“You can’t live a positive life with a negative mind.” - Joyce Meyer

God did not create us for lives of mediocrity; He created us for far greater things. Life’s greatest rewards seldom fall into our laps; to quite the contrary, our greatest accomplishments usually require perseverance, work, and discipline, which is perfectly fine with God. Trust me, your greatest accomplishments will typically come after incredible struggles. After all, He knows that we’re up to the task, and He has big plans for us. May we, as disciplined believers, keep working and praying until the Lord transforms our disappointments into victories.

“The difference between winning and losing is how we choose to react to disappointment.” - Barbara Johnson

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, when I face the inevitable disappointments of life, remind me that You are in control. You are the Giver of all good things, Father, and You will bless me today, tomorrow, and forever. Amen.
