"Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them—this is the Law of the Prophets." Matthew 7:12 HCSB

Would you like to make the world a better place? If so, you can start by practicing the Golden Rule.

Is the Golden Rule your rule, or is it just another Bible verse that goes in one ear and out the other? Jesus made Himself perfectly clear: He instructed you to treat other people in the same way you want to be treated.

But sometimes, especially when you’re feeling the pressures of everyday living, obeying the Golden Rule can seem like an impossible task—but it’s not. I am here to tell you that it is truly not!

So, if you want to know how to treat other people, ask the person you see every time you look in the mirror. The answer you’ll receive will tell you exactly what to do.

Here is the bonus…the Golden Rule of friendship is to listen to others as you would have them listen to you. Start here. Start with listening.

"It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no one can sincerely try to help another without helping herself." - Barbara Johnson

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for friends and family members who practice the Golden Rule. Because I expect to be treated with kindness, let me be kind. Because I wish to be loved, let me be loving. In all things Lord, let me live by the Golden Rule, and let me express my gratitude to those who offer kindness to me. In the name of the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, Amen.
