"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks…receives, and he who seeks…finds, and to him (or her) who knocks…it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV

The Bible promises that God always hears our prayers. And it also promises that, in His own time and in His own way, He answers those prayers.

God invites us to ask Him for the things we need, and He promises to respond in a way that fulfills His ultimate purpose for our lives here on earth and His plans for our eternal lives together with Him in heaven.

The Lord is always available and He’s always ready to help us. And He knows precisely what we need. But He still instructs us to ask. Are you willing to ask? Or, are you unwilling to ask? It is that simple of a choice.

Do you make a habit of asking God for the things you need? The Father most certainly has a plan for your life. And He can do great things through you if you have the courage to ask for His guidance and His help.

So, be committed to prayer and don’t hesitate to ask the Creator for the tool you need to accomplish His plan for your life. This is your part.

When you do your part, God will most certainly do His part. And great things are bound to happen.

“God makes prayer as easy as possible for us. He’s completely approachable and available, and He’ll never mock or find fault in you bringing your needs before him.” - Shirley Dobson

Our Prayer: Dear Almighty Creator, today I will ask You for the things I need. In every situation, I will come to You in prayer. You know what I want, Lord, and more importantly, You know what I need. Yet even though I know that You know, I still won’t be too timid-or too busy-to ask. Amen.
