Christian Boarding Schools in Dallas, Texas May Not Have the Kind of Expert Therapy that Clearview Horizon Provides Girls Who Have Eating Disorders, Depression, Reactive Attachment Disorders, or Who are Practicing Self-Harm
Clearview Horizon is a Christian boarding school specifically designed for teenage girls with life-controlling issues or misbehavior that may be threatening to their future. Our therapists work best with teens who are acting out or making poor decisions due to emotional stress originating from: major trauma or loss in their life, physical or mental abuse, death of a loved one, or attachment disorders related to adoption. We also specialize in eating disorders and self-harm.
If your teenage girl is displaying bad behavior or who is making harmful choices, Clearview Horizon may be a better option to consider than normal Christian boarding schools that do not have psychotherapists on staff. Fact is, many Christian boarding schools claim to deal with behavioral issues, but few are equipped to handle deeper emotional issues beyond simple teenage rebellion.
Clearview Horizon is located in a beautiful facility in the mountains near the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. Our facility is intentionally located in a remote area in order for our resident girls to be far away from former influences, issues and similar surroundings. It also discourages our residents from considering connecting with friends and leaving our campus.
Christian Therapeutic Boarding School that Turns Self-Destructive Choices into a Positive Lifestyle for Girls Who Are Struggling
Here at Clearview, girls receive an individual treatment plan aligned with their medical, emotional, and psychological needs. Our expert and seasoned therapists care for over 20 girls in our gorgeous mountainside facility that was once a prestigious corporate hunting lodge. Our multi-disciplinary staff is dedicated to helping each young woman start on a new and more productive path in life. The clinical staff also features a psychiatric specialist, a primary care physician, a dentist, and licensed psychotherapists as well as teachers, mentors and residential care staff.
For spiritual support, residents are given encouragement and instruction by our Christian boarding school staff and participate in chapel services and Bible studies.
Our Christian Boarding School also Features an Accredited School with Classroom Teachers that Accommodate Each Resident’s Academic Needs, So They Can Return to Home in Dallas, TX With a Quality Education
Teens who are having emotional and behavioral problems tend to be showing little progress in school. Our school is intentionally computer-based, assisted by a certified teacher, so that girls are able to get caught up and even get ahead in their academics while they are at Clearview. We also provide tutoring if needed, and regular academic progress updates are provided to parents.
Our Christian Boarding School for Girls Also Includes Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle (Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually)
Clearview emphasizes a good nutritional diet along with physical workouts, restful sleep and fun times; all designed to teach a healthy lifestyle. Girls participate in many outdoor and recreational events during the year, as well as organized team sports. Our residents also enjoy regular camping and hiking outings in the beautiful and rugged mountains of Western Montana and Idaho.

Dallas is the third-largest city in the state of Texas and the ninth-largest in the United States. The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is the largest metropolitan area in the South and fourth-largest metropolitan area in the United States. Divided between Collin, Dallas, Denton, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties, the city had a population of 1,197,816 in 2010, according to the United States Census Bureau.
The city is the largest economic center of the 12-county DallasFort WorthArlington metropolitan area (the DFW MSA) that according to the March 2010 U.S. Census Bureau release, had a population of 6,371,773 as of the 2010 U.S. Census. The metroplex economy is the sixth largest in the United States, with a 2010 gross metropolitan product of $374 billion.
Dallas was founded in 1841 and was formally incorporated as a city in February 1856. The city’s economy is primarily based on banking, commerce, telecommunications, computer technology, energy, healthcare and medical research, transportation and logistics. The city is home to the third largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the nation. Located in North Texas and a major city in the American South, Dallas is the main core of the largest inland metropolitan area in the United States that lacks any navigable link to the sea.
The city’s prominence arose from its historical importance as a center for the oil and cotton industries, and its position along numerous railroad lines. With the advent of the interstate highway system in the 1950s and 1960s, Dallas became an east/west and north/south focal point of the interstate system with the convergence of four major interstate highways in the city, along with a fifth interstate loop around the city. Dallas developed a strong industrial and financial sector, and a major inland port, due largely to the presence of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, one of the largest and busiest airports in the world.
In the latest rankings released on September 14, 2011, Dallas was rated as an Alpha- world city by the Globalization and World Cities Study Group & Network and is the only city in the South Central and Southwest regions to achieve that status. Dallas is also ranked 14th in world rankings of GDP by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
