Christian Boarding Schools in El Paso, Texas May Not Have the Kind of Professional Therapy that Clearview Horizon Provides Girls Who Have Eating Disorders, Depression, Reactive Attachment Disorders, or Who are Practicing Self-Harm
Clearview Horizon is a Christian boarding school specifically designed for teenage girls with life-controlling issues or misbehavior that may be threatening to their future. Our therapists work best with young women who are acting out or making inappropriate decisions due to emotional issues originating from: major trauma or loss in their life, physical or mental abuse, death of a loved one, or attachment disorders related to adoption. We also specialize in eating disorders and self-harm.
If you have a teenage girl in your home displaying unacceptable behavior or who is making harmful choices, Clearview Horizon may be a better option to consider than normal Christian boarding schools that do not have psychotherapists on staff. Fact is, many Christian boarding schools claim to treat behavioral issues, but few are equipped to deal with deeper emotional issues beyond simple teenage rebellion.
Clearview Horizon is located in a beautiful facility in the mountains near the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. We are intentionally located in a remote area in order for our resident girls to be far away from former influences, issues and similar surroundings. It also discourages teens in our care from thinking about connecting with peers and leaving our campus.
Christian Therapeutic Boarding School that Turns Self-Destructive Decisions into a Positive Lifestyle for Girls Who Are Struggling
In the Clearview Christian boarding school, girls receive an individual treatment plan aligned with their medical, emotional, and psychological needs. Our expert and seasoned psychotherapists care for over 20 girls in our gorgeous mountainside facility that was once a prestigious corporate hunting lodge. Our multi-disciplinary team is dedicated to helping each young woman start on a new and more productive path in life. The clinical staff also features a psychiatric specialist, a primary care physician, a dentist, and licensed psychotherapists as well as teachers, mentors and residential care staff.
As a spiritual emphasis, girls are given encouragement and instruction by our Christian boarding school staff and participate in chapel services and Bible studies.
Our Christian Boarding School also Features an Accredited School with Full-Time Teachers that Accommodate Individual Academic Needs, So They Can Return to Home in El Paso, TX With a Quality Education
Teens who are having emotional and behavioral problems tend to be showing little progress in school. Our academic program is intentionally computer-based, assisted by a licensed teacher, so that young women in our care are able to get caught up and even get ahead in their schooling while they are at Clearview. We also provide tutoring when necessary, and regular academic progress updates are delivered to parents.
Our Christian Boarding School for Girls Also Includes Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle (Physically, Emotionally and Spiritually)
Clearview emphasizes a healthy, nutritionally-balanced diet along with physical workouts, restful sleep and fun times; all designed to teach a healthy lifestyle. Girls participate in many recreational and fitness events during the year, as well as organized team sports. Our residents are also taken on regular camping and hiking outings in the beautiful and rugged mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
