Christian Boarding Schools in Irvine, California May Not Have the Kind of Expert Therapy that Clearview Horizon Provides Girls Who Have Eating Disorders, Depression, Reactive Attachment Disorders, or Who are Practicing Self-Harm
Clearview Horizon is a Christian boarding school specifically designed for teenage girls with life-controlling issues or inappropriate behaviors that may be threatening to their future. Our psychotherapists work best with teens who are acting out or making inappropriate decisions due to emotional stress originating from: major trauma or loss in their life, physical or mental abuse, death of a loved one, or attachment disorders related to adoption. We also specialize in eating disorders and self-harm.
If your teenage girl is displaying misbehavior or is making destructive choices, Clearview Horizon may be a better option to consider than normal Christian boarding schools that do not have psychotherapists on staff. Fact is, many Christian boarding schools claim to treat behavioral issues, but few are prepared to deal with deeper emotional issues beyond simple teenage rebellion.
Clearview Horizon is located in a beautiful facility in the mountains near the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. We are intentionally located in a remote area in order for our resident girls to be far away from former influences, issues and similar surroundings. It also discourages our residents from thinking about connecting with friends and departing our facility.
Christian Boarding School with Expert Therapy that Turns Self-Destructive Decisions into a Better Way of Thinking for Girls Who Are Struggling
In our Christian boarding school, girls receive an individual treatment plan aligned with their medical, emotional, and psychological needs. Our expert and seasoned therapists care for over 20 girls in our gorgeous mountainside facility that was once a prestigious corporate hunting lodge. Our multi-disciplinary team is dedicated to helping each young woman start on a new and more productive path in life. The clinical staff includes a psychiatric specialist, a primary care physician, a dentist, and licensed psychotherapists as well as teachers, mentors and residential care staff.
As a spiritual emphasis, residents are given encouragement and instruction by our Christian boarding school staff and participate in chapel services and Bible studies.
Our Christian Boarding School also Features an Accredited School with Classroom Teachers that Accommodate Individual Academic Needs, So They Can Return to Home in Irvine, CA With a Quality Education
Young women who are having emotional and behavioral problems tend to be showing little progress in school. Our school is intentionally computer-based, assisted by a licensed teacher, so that residents are able to get caught up and even get ahead in their academics while they are at Clearview. We also provide tutoring when necessary, and regular academic progress reports are delivered to parents.
Our Christian Boarding School for Girls Also Includes Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle (Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually)
Clearview emphasizes a good nutritional diet along with physical workouts, restful sleep and fun times; all designed to teach a healthy lifestyle. Girls participate in many outdoor and recreational events during the year, as well as organized team sports. Our residents are also taken on regular overnight treks in the beautiful and rugged mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
