Christian Boarding Schools in Irving, Texas May Not Have the Kind of Professional Therapy that Clearview Horizon Provides Girls Who Have Eating Disorders, Depression, Reactive Attachment Disorders, or Who are Practicing Self-Harm
Clearview Horizon is a Christian boarding school specifically designed for teenage girls with life-controlling issues or misbehavior that may be threatening to their future. Our counselors work best with teens who are acting out or making poor decisions due to emotional issues originating from: major trauma or loss in their life, physical or mental abuse, death of a loved one, or attachment disorders related to adoption. We also specialize in eating disorders and self-harm.
If you have a teenage girl in your home displaying misbehavior or who is making harmful choices, Clearview Horizon may be a better option to consider than normal Christian boarding schools that do not have psychotherapists on staff. Fact is, many Christian boarding schools claim to deal with behavioral issues, but few are equipped to deal with deeper emotional issues beyond simple teenage rebellion.
Clearview Horizon is located in a beautiful facility in the mountains near the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. We are intentionally located in a remote area in order for our resident girls to be far away from former influences, issues and similar surroundings. It also discourages teens in our care from thinking about connecting with friends and leaving our facility.
Christian Boarding School with Expert Therapy that Turns Self-Destructive Thinking into a Positive Lifestyle for Girls Who Are Struggling
In our Christian boarding school, girls receive an individual treatment plan aligned with their medical, emotional, and psychological needs. Our expert and seasoned psychotherapists care for over 20 girls in our gorgeous mountainside facility that was once a prestigious corporate hunting lodge. Our multi-disciplinary staff is dedicated to helping each resident start on a new and more productive path in life. The clinical staff is made up of a psychiatric specialist, a primary care physician, a dentist, and licensed psychotherapists as well as teachers, mentors and residential care staff.
For spiritual support, girls are given encouragement and instruction by our Christian boarding school staff and participate in chapel services and Bible studies.
Our Christian Boarding School also Features an Accredited School with Classroom Teachers that Accommodate Individual Academic Needs, So They Can Return to Home in Irving, TX With a Quality Education
Young women who are having emotional and behavioral problems tend to be failing in school. Our school is intentionally computer-based, assisted by a licensed teacher, so that young women in our care are able to get caught up and even get ahead in their schooling while they are at Clearview. We also provide tutoring when necessary, and regular academic progress reports are provided to parents.
Our Christian Boarding School for Girls Also Includes Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle (Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually)
Clearview emphasizes a healthy, nutritionally-balanced diet along with physical fitness, restful sleep and fun times; all designed to teach a healthy lifestyle. Girls participate in many outdoor and recreational events during the year, as well as organized team sports. Our residents are also taken on regular overnight treks in the beautiful and rugged mountains of Western Montana and Idaho.
