Clearview Girls Academy Treats Reactive Attachment Disorder in Teens
We can treat your daughter if she suffers from Reactive Attachment Disorder (or RAD), a rare but serious condition in which she has been unable to form a healthy emotional attachment with mother (or primary caregiver). Consistent care of a baby’s physical and emotional needs allows her to learn to bond, and without that (i.e.: from transient foster care), she may have a hard time establishing any close relationships.
There are two types of RAD (sometimes also known as Radical Attachment Disorder). One may find her detached, emotionally unresponsive, inhibited or withdrawn. With the other kind she might be inappropriately familiar or affectionate with complete strangers.
Clearview Offers an Ideal Remote Setting to Help Your Daughter with Reactive Attachment Disorder
A stable and nurturing environment (such as what you’ll find at the Clearview residential treatment center and school) is essential in order for your daughter to create healthy attachments. Family therapy may be critically important in her treatment of Reactive Attachment Disorder, encouraging communication between you and your daughter. By giving you (parenting) skills to help heal her disorder, she can avoid developing deeper social and behavioral issues later in life, and instead go on to enjoy healthy relationships with you and with others.
Helping Girls with Reactive Attachment Disorder at the Clearview residential treatment center and school
Clearview Girl Academy specializes in dealing with girls aged 13-21 – particularly ones with Attachment Disorders – who exhibit inappropriate behaviors that may threaten their future. With our interdisciplinary counseling team (of psychotherapists, psychiatric specialist, licensed teachers and mentors) we can help your daughter solve the very difficult issues she faces, and start on a new and more productive path in her life.
We will create an individualized treatment plan specifically for her unique medical, emotional, and psychological needs. Along with daily chores and schooling (or career training), the Clearview girls reform school program is very personable and relational, but highly structured, emphasizing a nutritionally balanced diet, physical activities and outdoor events, and forged to educate your daughter in a healthy lifestyle.
Clearview Girls Academy, a girls reform therapeutic boarding school, is housed in a secure mountainside lodge in Montana, where our therapies and teen counseling sessions are chosen for girls who need to make better choices as well as develop strong interpersonal and academic skills. Our program is created to help your daughter find the strength to overcome Reactive Attachment Disorder, enabling her to live the rest of her life as a successful and healthy woman.
