Albert Einstein once famously said “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” Just as finding balance is an important aspect of life in general, it is also true in the world of recovery. That is why at Clearview Girls Academy we focus on finding a three-part balance of academic achievement, behavioral (clinical) programming, and spiritual growth.

How do we balance this mix of academics, spirituality, and clinical programming at Clearview Girls Academy? We use an individualized approach and a variety of our different therapeutic and wellness options for our students.

We have found that this type of balance allows for the best opportunity for growth and forward momentum for our students. Our goal is to get our students back on the “bicycle of life” and to help them ride the best path of recovery possible.

What Do We Mean by Academic Recovery?

Academic achievement is one of the most important aspects of what we offer here at Clearview Girls Academy. Many of our students arrive having lost their desire to excel in school. This may be due to , some sort of trauma, or other mental health issues that are impeding their ability to learn.

This dip in academic progress can be scary to a parent. We understand. Academic achievement can be one of the best foundations a person can establish for a comfortable and sustainable future. For this reason, we prioritize academics highly at Clearview Girls Academy.

The Benefit of Established Credentials

The exciting news is that not only do we prioritize academics, but we also have the accreditations and credentials that allow us to give your daughter the academic acceleration she may need. We are a fully accredited middle school and high school.

Your daughter will be able to regain her focus on academics while also maintaining her status with her peers outside of recovery. We can even help your daughter obtain enough credits for two years of study in one year with our focused academic program.

We have seen many students graduate at our facility and go on to bigger and better futures, including higher education both locally, nationally, and abroad. This is one of our great joys at Clearview Girls Academy, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students.

What Do We Mean by Spiritual Recovery?

In the Bible, the Book of John 11.40, Jesus Christ says, “Did I not tell you that, if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” That is what we aim to revive in our students here at Clearview Girls Academy – a belief in something greater than themselves.

Many of our students come to us with shattered faith in God. It is not their fault; they are struggling with something they cannot control. This struggle might be with or some other mental health issue. We aim to put that faith back into their lives.

While we are grounded in our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, our ultimate goal is to introduce our students to a renewed spiritual life. Whether it be Jesus or some other form of spirituality, we have found that faith can be one of the greatest foundations for a long and healthy recovery.

What Do We Mean by Clinical Recovery?

The term “clinical” can make a lot of parents apprehensive when they first hear it, but there is no reason to feel that way. By clinical, we simply mean that we are staffed with psychological and medical professionals that can help our students recover in the most effective way possible.

We are not a “clinic,” as in sterile hallways, white walls, and partitioned rooms. We are a wellness facility, surrounded by nature, and we have the credentials to offer the type of clinical help that many of our students require.

These types of therapy include the more “traditional” forms like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or trust-based relational intervention (TBRI). We also offer more neuroscientific treatments like transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). No matter what aspect of our clinical program we offer your daughter, it will also be integrated with both academic and faith work.

Why Is This Recovery Trifecta So Important at Clearview Girls Academy?

We care for each of our students individually, because we understand that no student comes to us dealing with the same issues. Even if we have students that share the same diagnosis, that does not mean that they are having a universal experience.

Some of our students come to us with their academic records intact but are suffering spiritually. Some of our students are suffering from the root causes of emotional disorders and have lost the ability to excel in school. Some of our students even come in with a spiritual practice, and they cannot understand why the rest of their life is not coming together.

These are the reasons that we always take this three-part approach of academics, spiritual growth, and clinical programming. No matter how our students may have fallen off of the bicycle of life, we have programs that can help them get back up, get balanced, and ride on toward their beautiful futures.

Here at Clearview Girls Academy, we believe in a three-part individualized approach to recovery. Those parts are academic, spiritual, and clinical. We want your daughter to hit new heights of academic achievement. We want her to strengthen her faith and make a spiritual connection. We want to utilize our therapeutic tools to get her the best clinical treatment possible. If you feel that your daughter is struggling with mental health issues, please reach out for help today. There is no need to wait. We can help your daughter get on the right road to recovery. We can help “light her path.” For more information, please contact Clearview Girls Academy at (888) 796-5484.
