Clearview Horizon Girls Academy: A Place of Transformation, Hope, and Lasting Change
Clearview Horizon Girls Academy is a highly respected therapeutic boarding school for girls ages 10–19, nestled in the stunning mountains of Montana. For 30 years, we’ve been a trusted choice for families across the country seeking deep, life-changing support for their daughters. As one of the longest-running therapeutic boarding schools in the Western U.S., our reputation is built on clinical excellence, heartfelt care, and a mission-driven team that believes every girl is capable of healing and thriving.
At Clearview Horizon Girls Academy, each student receives a truly personalized therapeutic experience guided by licensed, highly experienced mental health professionals. One-on-one sessions with dedicated therapists, daily group therapy, and family video conferencing form the foundation of our holistic approach. Our team utilizes a range of evidence-based modalities including Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Equine Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Reality Therapy, and Wilderness Therapy. For students processing deep trauma, we offer advanced interventions like EMDR and Lifespan Integration therapy, delivered by specialists trained in those disciplines. Neurofeedback mapping and in-house training are also available to support emotional regulation and brain healing.
More than just therapy, Clearview Horizon is a place where girls rediscover their confidence, purpose, and sense of direction. Life coaches work side-by-side with students to build real-world skills—preparing them for re-entry into family life, college, and the workforce. Academically, our certified teachers meet each girl where she is, fostering growth and progress in a flexible and supportive environment.
Our students thrive in a vibrant, experiential program that includes everything from river rafting and downhill skiing to yoga, art, and service projects. Spiritually, girls are welcomed into weekly Bible study and Sunday worship services, allowing them to grow in faith at their own pace.
With Joint Commission accreditation and a full-time nursing team to oversee medication and wellness, parents can trust that their daughter’s care is held to the highest standards. Families are not left out—we host regular parent workshops and provide tools that support the entire family system in healing and reconnecting.
At Clearview Horizon Girls Academy, your daughter will be seen, heard, and known. She will be challenged to grow, supported through setbacks, and surrounded by a team whose singular mission is to light the path forward—wrapped in the unmatched serenity and healing power of Montana’s great outdoors.
