I am a wife, mother, grandmother, artist, and lifelong lover of the outdoors. My husband is a retired Navy deep-sea diver, and together we have four grown children and six grandchildren. Originally from Texas, I served in the U.S. Air Force and have lived all over the world. After completing my service, I worked in Counterterrorism and Information Technology with the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, eventually retiring from Civil Service in 2017.

Creativity has always been central to who I am. I paint, draw, carve with a chainsaw, build rustic furniture, and work with pottery, oils, acrylics, watercolor—anything that lets me create. My favorite place to be is in the wilderness behind our cabin in Northwest Montana with my husband, our dog, and two cats.

Most recently, I served as the elected Clerk of District Court and Jury Commissioner for Sanders County. I also acted as the Legislative Chairperson for the Montana Association of Clerks of District Court, working closely with lobbyists, senators, and representatives to draft and pass legislation. During this time, I collaborated with our District Judge to bring Drug Treatment Court to Sanders County, allowing eligible drug and alcohol offenders to receive treatment and rehabilitation rather than incarceration.

I have worked with Clearview Girls Academy for more than eight years, previously serving as Chief Administrator. I am deeply experienced in daily operations, licensure, compliance, and the organizational systems required to support a safe, structured, and successful program environment. I led Clearview through numerous licensure audits, helped open two schools, and supported staff, students, and families in meaningful ways.

My ongoing education reflects my passion for whole-person healing. While pursuing a degree in Healthcare Management, I earned certifications as an Amen Brain Health Coach, Nutrition Coach, Yoga Teacher, Arbinger Trainer, and Aegis De-Escalation Trainer. These skills equip me to understand how nutrition, movement, brain health, and emotional regulation all work together in the healing process. I value responsible listening, compassionate de-escalation, and the truth that behaviors often reflect what is happening in the mind and body.

Two influential books that guide my work are The Body Keeps the Score and The Four Agreements. I am committed to continual growth and to helping families and students thrive through meaningful change and compassionate support.
