Education and Experience: Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch New England Graduate School. I have been a licensed practitioner of marriage and family therapy since 1994. I have worked in a variety of programs and settings across the country including residential and therapeutic schools, young adult transition programs, drug and alcohol addiction and recovery programs, therapeutic wilderness programs, outpatient counseling and equine assisted psychotherapy programs.
 
Personal Interests: I boast that I am an original maniac, having been born and raised in the great state of Maine. The girls say that my accent is not so great anymore, but I can talk yankee with the best of them when needed. I have been married to the love of my life for the past thirty three years and am the proud father of eleven children of my own, with 10 grandbabies by the end of 2025. As a family, we love living an active country lifestyle, and are firmly rooted in strong Christian faith. My personal interests include small-scale farming and ranching, all activities in the great outdoors of Montana and northern Idaho including hunting and fly fishing, boating, camping and snow skiing. My family members and I are also avid soccer players, and I currently coach the Clearview Horizon Girls Academy all-star recreation league team.
 
Why Shawn is Passionate About Clearview Academy: I feel this generation of youth needs to be rescued from a culture of discouragement and despair in our current world. It is so easy these days for our children to get lost in the negativity and lies that surround them. I know that if I can help one of these precious girls to change their life in a positive way, and return to the values that their parents have instilled in them, that I will have influenced an entire generation in the future for good.
