My wife and I found Clearview Horizon Girls Academy to be a literal God-send for our daughter when she was going through a time period of great struggles. To start with, the Clearview Horizon Girls Academy staff are fantastic. They work there because they care about the girls under their care. Let’s face it, there are easier jobs out there…the staff members are there because they have a heart to help hurting kids.
The parental support Clearview Horizon Girls Academy offers is second to none. They have lots of suggested books, online resources, parent meet ups, virtual training, and in person workshops (held periodically around the country). My wife and I found the workshops to be life changing-literally. They showed us ways to be better parents for our daughter who was in program. The side benefit was that it helped us become better communicators with our other kids at home as well as with each other.
If you find yourself in the situation where you’re considering a residential program for your hurting daughter, I 100% recommend calling Clearview Horizon Girls Academy and talking to them about options.
We never thought we could afford it. We somehow made it work. We’ve never regretted that decision.
