I sent my daughter to Clearview in 2021. She graduated in 2023. If you are in crisis or if your daughter is on a path of self-destruct, I highly recommend Clearview Horizon Girls Academy.
While Clearview Horizon Girls Academy is not a good fit for every girl, Clearview was a good fit for my daughter and saved her life. If you are expecting to drop your daughter at Clearview Horizon Girls Academy for her to get “fixed” it won’t happen. What makes Clearview work is that the parents must be involved. There are quarterly communication workshops that are very helpful. After all, parents are a part of the problem, so they must be part of the solution. The staff at Clearview Horizon Girls Academy are wonderful. They are not perfect, but they did an incredible job with my daughter and me. Because of the weekly family therapy sessions via Zoom, I am a better parent for my daughter than I was before sending her to Clearview Horizon Girls Academy. We communicate better and through the therapy, Clearview Horizon Girls Academy helped my daughter learn how to see the things that “trigger” certain negative responses and how to make better choices in response to the “trigger”.
I truly thank God for leading me to send my daughter to Clearview Horizon Girls Academy. I’ve been blessed by having friends that I never would have met had my daughter not been there. I have a close circle of friends that I can reach out to for prayer and fellowship. I also enjoy the fact that as a graduate parent, I am able to stay connected with the Clearview community through the monthly coffee socials and alumni parent community via What’s app.
