Savannah’s Journey to Self-Discovery and Growth: I graduated from Clearview Horizon last month. During my stay at Clearview Horizon Girls Academy, I learned the importance of relationships. My mom and I had a pretty bad relationship where trust was completely lost, and we both felt hopeless ever to get along again. During our weekly phone calls, my mom and I practiced building trust and discussing important topics. My therapist helped us understand that. We could have conversations about hard topics and try to understand where we were coming from. Let me say that Clearview was the hardest thing for me to do. The work is challenging, and once I decided I needed help and Clearview wasn’t such a bad thing, it was all worth it.

Alyssa’s Triumph Over Trauma: I am a graduate of Clearview Horizon Girls Academy. I am 15 years old. I used to struggle with self-harm, lying, boys, anger, nicotine, sneaking out, restrictive eating, and forgiveness. I used to hate my family. I wanted nothing to do with them. Now, I am grateful for this beautiful life. I am an overcomer. I am confident. I have a beautiful relationship with my family. Many people have different experiences with Clearview Horizon Girls Academy, and I respect that. Help can be offered, but when the person in need does not accept the help, there is nothing anyone can do but keep the hand extended. That is what Clearview does. They keep their hands out so that when the girl is ready, she can take her chance. Yes, there are mistakes made. Yes, Clearview Horizon Girls Academy is imperfect. I do have to say that when I started truly and purely doing my work along with the rest of my family, there was beauty that grew. If you are thinking of going to Clearview or a parent/s is thinking of sending your daughter to Clearview Horizon Girls Academy, everyone has to contribute to their work. That doesn’t mean “faking it to make it.” I would request you ask yourself, “Do you want to get better, and do you want your family to get better?” Because if you want that, then you have to work for it. Hard things matter. There was a lot of tears, hurt, and overcoming. I used to spread my pain. Now, I spread growth.

Rachel’s Daughter’s Academic Success: Clearview Horizon saved our daughter’s life. They are not perfect, but they truly care. The staff, our daughter interacted with were caring and wanted to encourage positive growth in the girls there. She had one of the best therapists we could have asked for, and still keep in touch with her from afar. Our daughter went from hating school and getting F’s to graduating from Clearview Horizon and transferring to a private high school and graduating. She is now in college, pursuing a degree in Child Development. She has reconnected with her friends and family. We are very grateful to all the staff who contributed to her success.
- Paul’s Daughter’s Journey of Self-Discovery: If you are researching Residential Treatment Centers, you are likely getting ready to make the toughest decision of your life. If you are looking for a place to drop your daughter off for a year and hope they “fix” her, it doesn’t exist. But help does exist, and you are in the right place. I dropped my daughter off at Clearview in September. My attitude was I would drop my daughter off, they would fix her, and I could pick her up in a year. My daughter graduated one year and a half later from Clearview Horizon Girls Academy. They likely saved her life. Clearview Horizon Girls Academy is an amazing organization. The staff is incredible. I found peace when my daughter arrived; she began to find peace over time. It was a lot of work for the entire family. Weekly parent calls and monthly Zoom calls with other parents. Parent workshops where we learn to support our daughters, you will learn to build a place where it is okay for them to fail, and they will feel safe to come to you where you can help them recover. You will learn to create love and safety for your daughter. One word is commitment.
- Kristina’s Experience: During my first week on the job, I was fortunate enough to attend a “Parent Workshop.” I was blown away by the enthusiasm and passion the staff and parents showed for growth and healing. Helping women heal has been a mission of mine, and I was grateful to be hired by a company that shared my passion and aligned with my core values. Their mentors/coaches are top-notch, as are their nursing, clinical, admin, educational, and kitchen teams! No organization or human is without dysfunction, and to me, being the best means always striving to do better, taking accountability, never losing sight of your mission, operating from integrity, and remaining Christ-centered. Clearview follows these standards of excellence. Beyond grateful to work for an organization that is faithful to their employees, students, and students’ parents! God Wins!
