If your teenage girl is displaying bad behavior or is making destructive choices, Clearview Horizon may be a good option to consider as you research therapeutic boarding schools in Choctaw, OK.
While not in Choctaw, Oklahoma, Clearview Horizon works with girls from your town in a beautiful facility in the mountains nearby the year-round resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. Our facility is intentionally located in a remote area because an important part of therapy is for the girl to be far away from influences, issues and similar surroundings so that she can put those out of her mind. It also discourages teens in our care from thinking about connecting with friends and departing our facility.
In a few words, Clearview Horizon is a therapeutic boarding school for teenage girls with life-controlling issues or inappropriate behaviors that may be threatening to their future. Our psychotherapists work best with girls who are acting out or making inappropriate decisions due to emotional stress stemming from: major trauma or loss in their life, physical or mental abuse, death of a loved one, or attachment disorders related to adoption. We also specialize in eating disorders and self-harm.
