Our school is intentionally computer-based, assisted by a licensed teacher, so young women in our care can get caught up and even get ahead in their academics while at Clearview. We also provide tutoring when necessary, and regular academic progress updates are provided to parents.

Clearview emphasizes a healthy, nutritionally-balanced diet, physical fitness, restful sleep, and fun times, all designed to teach a healthy lifestyle. Girls participate in many outdoor and recreational events during the year and organize team sports. Girls in our care also take regular camping and hiking outings in Western Montana and Idaho’s beautiful and rugged mountains. For spiritual support, our Christian staff gives residents encouragement and instruction. They can attend chapel services, but we honor other faiths and will not force our faith on any young woman or require them to participate in Christian services or studies.

Teenage girls in our care attend individual, group, and family therapy sessions with our staff of therapists. Our professional team also has a Chemical Dependency Counselor for related problems, which often accompany emotional upheaval or when teenagers self-medicate to dull their emotional pain. Also, art therapy gives girls another way to release their emotions. And animal and equine therapy is a part of our therapy, featuring dogs and miniature horses. Finally, through round-the-clock interactions with our trained staff, the girls receive constant feedback and assistance in their thinking and actions.
