There is only one subject that prescribes a single solution for problems, and that subject is math. Although we teach math in our academic programs, as you can imagine, math is not one of the core principles of recovery here at Clearview Girls Academy.

We are being silly here, but in all seriousness, we do not believe in a straightforward, black-and-white, single recovery solution. Instead, we take a three-pronged approach to all of our students’ recovery here at Clearview Girls Academy.

The three core principles of recovery we promote are behavioral recovery, academic recovery, and spiritual recovery. We feel that incorporating this three-tiered approach to your daughter’s program gives her the best chance for a healthy, long-term recovery.

The Three Core Principles of Recovery at Clearview Girls Academy

Clearview Girls Academy does have one thing in common with math. We like to show our work. We don’t just focus on the result. The process of arriving at answers is where the real magic and healing take place.

We understand that a “quick fix” sounds nice, especially when you have already been struggling with your daughter’s mental health for an extended period. We also understand that there is a fear of “interrupting” your daughter’s life by sending her to a treatment center. The important thing to remember is that you are not interrupting her life, you are elevating it.

If you incorporate our three principles into what your daughter is currently struggling with at home, you will see that not only will her life be uninterrupted, it will be accelerated. With behavioral, academic, and spiritual principles in place, your daughter will not simply come back where she left off. She will come back and be ahead of the game.

The Principle of Behavioral Recovery

Many parents send their children to Clearview Girls Academy because they are at the end of their rope. They feel hopeless. They feel as if they have nowhere to turn. As they watch their daughter’s destructive behavior, they genuinely fear for her future. We want you to know three things if you are also feeling this way.

One, this is not your fault. This is a very trying situation. Millions of children struggle with their mental health every year. You are not alone.

Two, your daughter is not simply choosing to behave this way. There is always something underlying toxic and dangerous behavior. Often this behavior arises from misunderstood, mislabeled, or mismanaged emotions.

Three, you don’t have to feel hopeless anymore. We understand and empathize with the feeling of hopelessness. However, we don’t allow it to fester and survive here. Do you want to know why? Because we know that we have the tools to combat it.

Addressing Behavioral Issues

Here at Clearview Girls Academy, behavioral recovery first comes in the form of emotional expression. We want our students to let out all of their emotions. This can often get “messy.” But sometimes you have to purge the pain before you can heal the wound.

Some of the tools we use to combat behavioral issues include group or individual therapy sessions. This may include something like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). We may also take a more neuroscientific approach because we have an exceptionally accredited and recognized team that can offer neurofeedback or craniosacral therapy treatments, among others.

The Principle of Academic Recovery

One of the big fears that parents have when sending their children away to recovery is whether or not they are going to fall back in their academics. If you are feeling this way, we want you to understand that this is natural, but that you can rest assured that your daughter will be in the right place.

Whether your daughter is struggling academically or not, we here at Clearview Girls Academy pride ourselves on our student’s academic achievements. The truth is that more often than not, our students’ focus on school has been interrupted by their current mental and emotional issues. This is especially true for those students who are suffering from substance use disorders (SUDs).

A Fully Accredited Academic Program

Clearview Girls Academy is a fully accredited middle school and high school. We can ensure that your daughter will maintain her academic placement with her outside peers. More importantly, with a more focused staff, along with the growth from their other treatments, your daughter’s academics can greatly improve.

Another benefit of our academic program is that with our individualized approach, your daughter can achieve accelerated academic advancement. This is because we can offer a full two terms of credits in just one. We also have many connections that can help your daughter find the right kind of higher education for her.

The Principle of Spiritual Recovery

In the Book of Mathew 19:26, Jesus says “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” We here at Clearview Girls Academy wholly stand by those words and the broader teachings of Jesus Christ.

Does that mean we force our students into believing the same? Absolutely not. However, we do believe that incorporating a spiritual life into our students’ recovery can help them live healthier, more fulfilled lives.

At Clearview Girls Academy we give our students as much inspiration as they need to help bring spirituality into their lives. They might find spirituality by connecting to the boundless nature of Montana that surrounds us. They might find it through meditation and breathing exercises, connecting with something outside of themselves, or by utilizing equine therapy. We feel a spiritual connection is more than possible here at our center.

We feel that the three-principled approach to recovery we offer here at Clearview Girls Academy is one of the best roads your daughter can travel for her recovery. Why? Because we have seen it work for our students so many times before.

Here at Clearview Girls Academy, we take an individualized approach for each of our students. We feel that giving each of our student’s recovery a direct unique focus is the best way to ensure not just recovery but a long-lasting recovery. However, within each focused approach, we address three core principles. Those principles are academic achievement, behavioral growth, and faith restoration. Instilling and reaffirming these principles has been crucial in helping our students grow into young women they can be proud of. If your daughter is struggling to find her way, Clearview Girls Academy can help light her path. Then soon she will light it for herself. For more information, please contact us at (888) 796-5484.
